Local-first apps and tools for the hardware in your home — no vendor cloud, no account required.
I'm Sidon — a software engineer working across mobile, web and game development. Mostly that means Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with Swift, C#, Unity and Python close at hand, and enough Arduino and Linux to get along with whatever hardware is on the bench.
What I build here is local-first: software that talks straight to the devices on your own network, with no vendor cloud in the middle and no account required to use hardware you already own. That runs from Compose Multiplatform apps that ship to Android and iOS from one codebase, through to desktop tools and a Home Assistant integration. Different shapes, same idea — and all of it open source.
Happy to talk Android, Unity, C# or Python. Otherwise you'll find me fishing.
